Scrapbook Expo & Stamping Event

Although the creation of ‘commonplace books‘ and journaling have been dated back to the 15th century, it’s in the 20th that the scrapbooking hobby exploded as the means to creatively preserve personal and family history. If you are a lover of ancestry, family history and memory keeping, the Sevierville Convention Center is where you will want to be October 17-18, 2015.

Too Much Fun Promotions is hosting The Smoky Mountain Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Getaway 2015, bringing creative minds and crafty talents together in a full weekend expo offering memory keeping supplies, scraping classes, stamping classes and paper crafts. Vendors from across the country will be sharing their latest embellishments and papers, rubber stamp and scrapbooking ideas, and sponsoring classes to hone your skills.

This scrapbooking weekend is for EVERYONE. There may be many reasons why you think it isn’t ‘your thing,’ but if you’ve ever taken a photo it is! Why do you take those photos? To capture and keep the person, the event, that specific moment in time long after they/it are gone. Why not learn how to preserve that photograph so that it can keep the memory alive for generations to come? This special event will inspire you to do as little or as much as you’d like and give you the tools to do it.

Saturday, October 17, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Sunday, October 18, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
